For this tasting class, a bilingual professional sommelier welcomes you to the tasting room of the superb Caves du Louvre. These historic wine cellars, built in the 18th century by the sommelier of King Louis XV, are now open to the public and dedicated to helping people discover French wines. An exceptional place to discover during this private tasting in groups of 12.
The tasting class is led by an oenologist passionate about France, who will present you with an expert selection of 10 wines (5 white and 5 red). They will teach you how to properly choose and taste wines, as well as how best to pair them with cheese. Each of the wines selected will be accompanied by a tasting of a traditional French cheese such as Roquefort, Brie or fresh goats’ cheese.
An original and fun way to learn more about France, its wine regions, its ‘appellations contrôlées’ and more.
A tasting of 5 white wines, 5 red wines and 10 French cheeses that will be paired with the wines served.
Every Thursday at 11.30am
