Tour of the vines, wine tasting of the Clos Montmartre wine and free admission to the museum: rendezvous on the famous hill!
The Comité des fêtes de Montmartre, exclusively with Paris je t’Aime – Paris Tourist Office, invites you to spend an hour or so learning about the extraordinary history of Montmartre wine. The famous vines were planted by the abbesses of Montmartre in the 12th century before the hill was annexed to Paris. When it was annexed at the end of the 19th century, the vines disappeared, before returning to cultivation in 1933.
Come and discover the secrets of these Parisian vines and their unique wine.
The purchase of your ticket for the tour of the vineyard gives you free access to the museum, as well as a tasting of the wine of the Clos Montmartre and the gift of an engraved wine glass. Tours booked on Paris je t’Aime take place on 9 July, 13 August, and 17 September at 2.30pm.
