The air-conditioned minivan picks you up in the 1st arrondissement, before taking you to the Château de Fontainebleau and the village of Barbizon. Departure is at 8 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Italian art and French tradition combine in the medieval, Renaissance and classical styles of the Château de Fontainebleau. It was home to the kings of France from François 1er to Napoléon III. The château and its grounds are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On the way back to Paris, you'll make a short stopover in Barbizon, a village emblematic of Impressionism, to discover the studio-school of the painter Millet.
Entrance to the château with video-guide (French, English, Spanish) is included, but meals are at your own expense.
