The Conciergerie and Sainte-Chapelle will be free for all visitors on September 17th and 18th, due to the European Heritage Days.
The Conciergerie
On the Île de la Cité, exceptional Gothic rooms of the first royal palace in Paris and reproduction of the prison cells of the revolutionary tribunal. At the end of the 17th century, numerous people were imprisoned in the prison of the Conciergerie, including Marie-Antoinette.
Listed a historical building by Unesco.
The Sainte-Chapelle
The first of the Holy Chapels to be decorated with exceptional stained-glass windows.
Known for having housed Christ’s Crown of Thorns, it has spectacular stained-glass windows. Veritable walls of light that make the Sainte-Chapelle the jewel of French Gothic.

Booking of a time slot and date for a visit is obligatory for admission to the museum. You will receive all the instructions in your booking confirmation.

Free admission for under 18s and 18-25s EU members. The reservation of a MANDATORY date and time slot after the purchase of the ticket on our website.
As part of the Vigipirate program security controls are put in place at the entrance of Parisian museums and monuments. In case of a large attendance, these controls can create a waiting time which cannot be skipped.
The Conciergerie :
Open all year from 9.30am to 6pm
Closed: 1 January, 1 May and 25 December
The Sainte-Chapelle : open every day
From January 2nd to March 31st from 9:00am to 5pm
From April 1st to September 30 from 9:00am to 7pm
From October 1st - December 31st from 9:00am to 5pm
Closed: 1 January, 1 May and 25 December
When temperature goes down to 0°C or less, the Sainte-Chapelle will close.
