Some characteristics of 3x3 basketball :
• 3 players per team on the court and 1 substitute
• Half court (11m x 15m) with 1 basket
• Duration of game : 1x10 minutes
• Value of a basket : 1 point for free throws and shots inside the circle, 2 points from outside the circle
• Time of possession to score : 12 seconds
• The first team to reach 21 points or the team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Competition format
The eight teams are grouped into a single pool. Each team plays the other seven teams once.

At the end of the pool matches, the top six teams qualify for the final knockout tournament: the top two teams go through directly to the semi-finals, while the next four play in the quarter-finals.
This is followed by the semi-finals, the bronze medal match and the final.
