From June 20, 2024 to June 29, 2024

The magnificent opera "L'Olimpiade" is brought to life by the talent of countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński and conductor Jean-Christophe Spinosi

"L'Olimpiade", first performed in Venice in 1734 at the Teatro Sant'Angelo, is based on a libretto by Metastasius after Herodotus. Vivaldi's musical writing, which is constantly renewed to perfectly represent the various dramatic situations, makes it one of his finest works. This opera in three acts, set near the city of Olympia on the day of the games, is magnified by the countertenor and breakdancer Jakuk Józef Orliński, conducted by Vivaldi master Jean-Christophe Spinosi.
