Discover the last works painted and drawn by Van Gogh during his stay in Auvers-sur-Oise at the Musée d'Orsay.
From 3 October 2023 to 4 February 2024, the Musée d'Orsay is presenting a brand new exhibition devoted to Van Gogh's stay in Auvers-sur-Oise at the end of his life in 1890.
Over a two-month period, Van Gogh produced 74 paintings and 33 drawings, including masterpieces such as Le Docteur Gachet and L'Eglise d'Auvers-sur-Oise.
The exhibition invites visitors to (re)discover around forty paintings and twenty drawings from this period, which was marked by a renewal of style. Following a thematic trail, visitors can admire paintings depicting the village of Auvers-sur-Oise, the surrounding countryside, portraits and still lifes.
