Discover the first exhibition dedicated to the Indian painter Sayed Haider Raza.

The Centre Pompidou presents the first exhibition in France devoted to the Indian painter Sayed Haider Raza, from 15 February to 15 May 2023, who was one of the founders of the Progressive Artists Group (P.A.G.). From 1947, this experimental art movement brought together artists of all backgrounds and nationalities. In 1950, Sayed Haider Raza moved to Paris, where he lived, worked and painted until 2011. The exhibition traces his career chronologically through a total of around 100 works, representative of the transcultural artistic creations of the second half of the 20th century.
