A large-scale exhibition showcases the work of American artist Robert Ryman at the Musée de l'Orangerie.

The Musée de l'Orangerie presents a major exhibition devoted to the American painter Robert Ryman (1930-2019), from 6 March to 8 July 2024. The exhibition underscores the singularity of Robert Ryman, often associated with the American Minimalism movement and known for his paintings in white, most of which are square in format. The exhibition explores the painter's work through the notions of surface, limit, space, light, and duration. Robert Ryman has not been exhibited in France since 1981, when the Centre Pompidou organized the first retrospective of the artist in Paris.
From 9am to 6pm. From 9am to 9pm Friday. Closed on Tuesday.
