Notre Sacre offers a committed and poetic re-reading of Igor Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.
A skilful blend of dance, music and poetry, choreographer Blanca Li joins forces with singer Abd Al Malik and classical music ensemble Les Dissonances, conducted by David Grimal, to present a unique version of Stravinsky's ballet The Rite of Spring. A motley troupe of 20 dancers from Seine Saint-Denis, outside the conventional circuits, take to the stage for the dance part of the show, which is intended to be the voice of a reunited plural society.
