Centuries later, his plays still resonate. So it's hardly surprising to see Molière and his life transformed into an opera... somewhere between slam and rap. That's the promise of Molière, L'opéra urbain, produced by Dove Attia, the man behind such popular hits as The Ten Commandments, The Sun King and Mozart the Rock Opera. While the sets and costumes will be period, 17th century, the staging promises to be modern, with the participation of some of the cast revealed in The Voice.
