Le Paris de la modernité (1905-1925)

Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-Arts de la ville de Paris, 5 Avenue Dutuit - 75008 Paris
From November 14, 2023 to April 14, 2024

The Petit Palais concludes its triptych devoted to the link between Paris and art with its final chapter: The Paris of modernity.

After Romantic Paris (1815-1858) and Paris 1900, the City of Entertainment, the Petit Palais concludes its trilogy of exhibitions with a look at modern Paris. It's an opportunity to take a closer look at the ever-increasing importance of the French capital in world art. Paris reinvented itself at the beginning of the 20th century: painting and sculpture were essential, but dance, design and architecture also emerged as modes of expression, making Paris a resolutely modern city, even in its culture.
