Le BAL presents ‘On Mass Hysteria’, the last part of Laia Abril's trilogy on the history of misogyny. Following ‘On Abortion’ and ‘On Rape’, this exhibition analyses the phenomena of collective hysteria affecting mainly women throughout the centuries. Through a visual and documentary approach, Abril highlights the mechanisms of control and oppression of the female body. On display from 17 January to 18 May 2025 at Le BAL, Paris
