An exhibition on the discovery of the atom and its impact on twentieth-century art.

The Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris is presenting a ground-breaking exhibition of twentieth-century art depicting the discovery of the atom and its consequences, such as the atomic bomb. Entitled L'Âge atomique. Les artistes à l'épreuve de l'histoire, brings together nearly 250 works, including paintings, drawings, photographs, videos and installations, from scientific discovery to ecological awareness. Photographic and audiovisual archives complete the exhibition. On view from 11 October 2024 to 9 February 2025.
Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Late-night opening on Thursdays until 9.30pm.
