Enjoy an original acoustic and immersive experience in the heart of silence

Until 31 August 2025, the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie will be celebrating silence in an exhibition that invites visitors to reflect on our relationship with noise and its absence. Wearing headphones, visitors can take part in an immersive acoustic experience that uses a wide range of audio recordings and storytelling to explore topics such as ‘What are noise and silence?' and ’How do we live as hermits far from the sounds of the city?'. The exhibition is available in French, English and German. Recommended for children aged 12 and over.
