A unique exhibition highlights the links between rugby and art
To coincide with the Rugby World Cup 2023 and the celebration of the sport's 200th anniversary, an exhibition is bringing together more than 200 works created by some 60 artists on the theme of rugby. These include rugby players turned artists, as well as artists inspired by the sport, such as Robert Combas, Jean-Pierre Rives and Denis Monfleur. Presented in the hall of the town hall in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, the exhibition is sponsored by Abdelatif Benazzi, vice-president of the French rugby federation. World Cup matches will also be shown.
