A unique exhibition devoted to the evolution of intimacy since the 18th century.

The Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris is devoting an original exhibition to the field of intimacy and its evolution since the 18th century. It features 470 art objects, works and photographs relating to this little-explored subject. From pierced chairs and toiletries to wrought-iron or enclosed beds, books and sex toys, and a shot of a bedroom taken by Henri Cartier-Bresson, the exhibition reveals the world of secret gardens and its history through the ages, right up to today's social networks. On view from 15 October 2024 to 30 March 2025.
