With the exhibition ‘Out of focus. Another vision of art, from 1945 to nowadays’, the Musée de l'Orangerie takes a look at blurred vision, an original and original subject that runs through modern and contemporary art, from Claude Monet's Water Lilies to the works of Hans Hartung. Following an introduction to the origins of this aesthetic in the 19th and 20th centuries, the exhibition explores a number of different themes, offering a dialogue between paintings, videos, photographs and installations. On view from 30 April to 18 August 2025.
From 9am to 6pm. Closed on Tuesday, 1 May and the morning of 14 July.
