During this Olympic year in Paris, immerse yourself in the history of the modern Olympic Games with the exhibition Olympism. A History of the World, which is on at the Palais de la Porte Dorée. Presented chronologically, the exhibition retraces the history of each of the 33 Olympiads held between 1896 and 2024, as well as those that were not able to be held in 1916, 1940 and 1944. Some 400 works of art and archive documents relating to these events are on display, evoking world conflicts and the struggle to combat inequality and racism. The exhibition runs from 26 April to 8 September 2024, before, during and until the end of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 5.30pm. Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 7pm. Closed on Mondays
Full price: €10 / Reduced price: €7. Free admission for under 26s and all visitors on the first Sunday of each month
