A major retrospective of the work of Colombian artist Olga de Amaral at the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain.
Colombian artist Olga de Amaral is the subject of a major retrospective at the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain in Paris. Since the 1960s, she has been exploring textiles and their various materials, from linen to horsehair and gold leaf, to create innovative large-scale, 3-dimensional works. The exhibition traces the artist's career, from her early research to her experiments and diverse influences, including constructivist art, Latin American crafts and pre-Columbian art. On view from 12 October 2024 to 16 March 2025.
Open daily from 11am to 8pm, except Mondays. Late-night opening on Tuesdays until 10pm.
