A unique exhibition devoted to the discovery of the remains of the ancient Aztec city of Tenochtitlan.

The Musée du Quai Branly in Paris is presenting the groundbreaking exhibition Mexica. Des dons et des dieux au templo Mayor, from 3 April to 8 September 2024. Organised in conjunction with Mexico City's National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), the exhibition is devoted to the discovery of the remains of Tenochtitlan, the ancient capital of the Aztec civilisation, also known as Mexica, and its sacred enclosure, the Templo Mayor. This discovery, which dates back to 1978, and the major archaeological digs that it has spawned, have enabled us to learn more about the history, arts and rituals of the Mexican Empire (1325-1521).
From 10.30am to 7pm. From 10.30am to 10pm Thursday. Closed on Monday.
