Fabrics, collectors' items, the history of textiles in France can be discovered at the National Archives.
The Archives Nationales unveil a new exhibition. For three centuries, the textile industry evolved in France, taking on a considerable role during the reign of Louis XIV before running out of steam and transforming itself in the 20th century. Through a series of collector's items, discover the story of the little hands who devoted their lives to producing different fabrics in natural or synthetic fibres.
