A look at the apartment of art collector Léonce Rosenberg and its interior decor, enhanced by a selection of masterpieces from the inter-war art scene.

With the event Léonce Rosenberg’s apartment. De Chirico, Ernst, Léger, Picabia ...from 30 January to 19 May 2024, the Musée Picasso-Paris focuses on the apartment converted in 1929 by the collector, art dealer and patron of the arts Léonce Rosenberg, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Comprising eleven rooms, each dedicated to an artist, it displayed some of the leading works of the artistic avant-garde in the inter-war period. The exhibition recounts the history of these collections, and presents some forty works of art, signed Georges Valmier, Auguste Herbin, Albert Gleizes, Giorgio de Chirico, Max Ernst, and Francis Picabia, exhibited there.
From 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. 9.30am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday and during Zone C school vacations.
Closed on Mondays, May 1st, December 25th and January 1st.
