A unique retrospective of modern Vietnamese art at the Musée Cernuschi.

To mark the centenary of the Hanoi School of Fine Arts, the Musée Cernuschi in Paris is staging a unique retrospective devoted to three pioneers of modern Vietnamese art: Lê Phô (1907-2001), Mai-Thu (1906-1980) and Vu Cao Dam (1908-2000). These three artists and friends trained at the Hanoi School of Fine Arts before moving to France in 1937. Their unique style draws on both Vietnamese traditions and Western art. Over the last thirty years or so, the three artists have aroused great enthusiasm on the art market. The exhibition features 150 works from 25 different collections, brought together for the first time in France.
