A new exhibition at the Musée Picasso devoted to the early career of the American artist Jackson Pollock.
The Musée National Picasso in Paris presents the exhibition Jackson Pollock. The Early Years (1934-1947). Dedicated to the early years of the American artist, it highlights his early works, which have been rarely shown and were inspired by the European avant-gardes, in particular Picasso. Around a hundred paintings, prints and sculptures on loan from prestigious museums including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Centre Pompidou and the Tate will be on view from 15 October 2024 to 19 January 2025.
