Guillaume Bresson, a major French figurative painter, exhibits his work at the Château de Versailles

Trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Guillaume Bresson is a major French figurative painter. His works, with a realism akin to photography, depict contemporary urban battles, while evoking the gestures of Baroque painting. The Château de Versailles is inviting the French painter to exhibit his hyper-realistic works in the château's African rooms until 25 May 2025. On this occasion, the paintings will enter into dialogue with the monumental canvases depicting the battles fought by Louis-Philippe in North Africa.
