The Musée Maillol is devoting a retrospective to the American photographer Elliott Erwitt, from 23 March to 15 August 2023. A member of the prestigious Magnum agency since 1954, Elliott Erwitt is one of the most recognized and influential photographers of the 20th century. Known for his portraits of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Alfred Hitchcock, Charles de Gaulle and Jackie Kennedy, as well as for his photos of street scenes, of dogs and clips taken on the spot, his work is varied, and full of humanism, emotion and humour. Over the course of the exhibition, visitors can admire nearly 215 black and white and colour photographs by the artist
