目 China. A new generation of artists

A panorama of contemporary art in China presented at the Centre Pompidou.

With the exhibition 目 Chine, une nouvelle génération d'artistes, the Centre Pompidou in Paris invites visitors to discover the current Chinese art scene through a selection of works created by 21 artists. Born between the late 1970s and the early 1990s, the new generation of artists is interested in a wide range of themes, from China's relationship with the world to environmental issues and globalisation. The works on show demonstrate the use of a wide range of media: video, painting, sculpture, installation, photography and new media. On view from 9 October 2024 to 3 February 2025.
