With the exhibition Byblos, cité éternelle, the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris invites the public to discover the world of one of Lebanon's oldest cities, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nearly 300 works plunge visitors into the history of this important ancient seaport, going back in time to more than 8900 years ago. It's a chance to admire exceptional works such as the Abishemou Obelisk, the European Abduction mosaic and an intact Bronze Age necropolis. On view from 26 November 2024 to 30 March 2025.
