A new exhibition by the 19th-century Swedish artist Bruno Liljefors, devoted to Scandinavian Nature.

The Petit Palais in Paris is hosting the exhibition Bruno Liljefors. Wild Sweden, from 1 October 2024 to 16 February 2025. This ground-breaking exhibition reveals the world of this key Scandinavian artist of the late 19th century. Nearly 100 paintings, drawings and photographs explore the theme of nature and animals in Sweden, in a style in which light and atmosphere are carefully crafted. This exhibition is the third and final part of the programme devoted to the trio of Swedish artists known as ‘ABC’, of which Bruno Liljefors is a member along with Carl Larsson and Anders Zorn.
Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Late-night opening until 8pm on Friday and Saturday.
