First exhibition at the Picasso Museum dedicated to Brazilian artist Anna Maria Maiolino
From 14 June to 21 September 2025, the Musée Picasso (Picasso Museum) will present the first exhibition dedicated to Brazilian artist Anna Maria Maiolino. Part of the Brazil-France 2025 season, it will unveil around 100 paintings, sculptures, videos and drawings by Anna Maria Maiolino, who was awarded a Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Biennale in 2024. Of Italian origin, the artist has been based in Rio, Brazil, since 1960. Working in a wide variety of media, her work explores the theme of exile and shares a Mediterranean heritage with Pablo Picasso.
From 9:30am to 6pm. Open until 10pm on the first Wednesday of the month. Closed on Monday.
