Discover the Water Lilies as seen by the artist Amélie Bertrand at the Musée de l'Orangerie.
The Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris is presenting a new work by the artist Amélie Bertrand on the theme of Water Lilies. Born in 1985, Amélie Bertrand creates landscapes with a colourful, suave and strange atmosphere, made up of motifs such as tiles, brick walls and fences. After working with computers and stencils, she creates oil paintings with astonishing gradations and lighting effects. At the Musée de l'Orangerie, visitors can discover a set of five paintings designed by Amélie Bertrand for the pronaos of Monet's Water Lilies, as well as three paintings specially created and installed in the contemporary room.
