An exhibition on the Dreyfus affair that shook up French history 130 years ago

The exhibition ‘Alfred Dreyfus. Truth and Justice’ looks at the famous affair that shook France at the end of the 19th century, leading to the creation of the law on the separation of Church and State. On show at the Musée d'art et d'histoire du judaïsme from 13 March to 31 August 2025, it brings together some 250 archive documents, films, photographs and nearly 60 works by artists who were contemporaries of Alfred Dreyfus. Drawing on the museum's holdings and loans from institutions such as the Musée d'Orsay, the Archives Nationales and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, it sheds new light on the Dreyfus Affair.
