Charles Perrault's famous tale ‘Sleeping Beauty’ was the inspiration for a fairytale ballet that has captivated many an audience since its creation. After winning over audiences with his interpretation of the prince in the ballet, presented at the Palais Garnier in 1961, dancer and choreographer Rudolph Nureyev revisited the ballet with a new version at this legendary venue thirty years later. The ballet returns to the stage of the Opéra Bastille from 8 March to 14 July 2025.
