From 30 March to 6 April 2025, the Théâtre du Châtelet presents Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's new show ‘Ihsane’, performed by his dance company Eastman and the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève. In this creation, the choreographer evokes his family history, exploring father-son relationships and Moroccan culture. Ihsane is both an ideal of goodness in Arabic and the first name of a young man who was the victim of homophobia in Belgium in 2012. The show takes us on a journey to the crossroads of Europe and North Africa, in search of inner peace.
