Giant musical sculptures take up residence in the Musée de la Musique de la Philharmonie de Paris.
The Musée de la Musique de la Philharmonie de Paris has one of the most important collections of musical instruments in the world. In its permanent collection space, the museum presents Anima(ex)musica, a dozen musical sculptures made from pieces of musical instruments that have become unusable. These sculptures, created by the artists' collective Tout reste à faire, represent astonishing giant insects, which are both animated and produce sound. During European Heritage Days, on 16 and 17 September, the collective creates a new sculpture in public.
From 12 noon to 6pm.
From 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Closed on Mondays.
