The Chaalis domain is located about 40km to the north of Paris. The Cistercian abbey was built in 1219 and visitors can admire the remains highlighted in a naturally romantic setting. Don't forget to discover the Renaissance frescos of the Sainte-Marie chapel (1255), the Jacquemart-André collection with masterpieces from Giotto, Philippe de Champaigne, Auguste Rodin ... and a 3,500m² rose garden.
