SIFEM aims to promote diagnostic and therapeutic imaging of the female pelvis and breast.
SIFEM is directly involved in continuing medical education through its annual congress. It is held alternately in different regions of France, or exceptionally in neighboring countries such as Luxembourg, Belgium or the Principality of Monaco. The congress gives pride of place to presentations on the state of the art in imaging, without however neglecting organizational aspects (screening in particular) or patient management methods (cancer plan). The congress is also an opportunity to exchange views with manufacturers, who come to showcase the latest developments in equipment.
